Flowers
There are now two vases of flowers on the windowsills at the far right and left of the pulpit which are there to be used! Elders can take from these at the end of the service and together with a lovely gift card deliver to someone in the parish on the church's behalf. The flowers will be replenished as needed by our flower team.
If you know someone who would appreciate such a gesture let an elder know or if you have a specific date in mind pop the request into the A4 stripy book in the Winton Aisle. Thank you.

Christian Aid Week 13-19 May
As a congregation we have always supported Christian Aid Week most generously, let's do the same again!
Red envelopes adorn each pew and the hope is that each person will take one for themselves and at least one other for a friend, neighbour, relative or colleague.
The next step is to enclose a monetary donation in the envelope (remembering to Gift Aid if applicable) with the final step being to bring the envelope back to Church, popping it in the offering plate or handing it to myself or any other Elder.
The poorest people in the world are depending on us to help them help themselves out of the most appalling poverty and every filled envelope enables Christian Aid to change lives for the better.
Let's be part of the chain that changes the world!
Prayer for Christian Aid Week
People working together,
children going to school,
women speaking out,
tools for transformation,
communities thriving and not just surviving,
and no more hunger---
these are fruits that will last.
Jesus who calls us friends,
may we love one another and remain in your love.
Amen
